Safeguarding Statement
At Innovate Dorset Ltd., we believe that it is the responsibility of every member of staff, volunteer, partnered service, and regular visitor to the building to ensure that they carry out the requirements and responsibilities of the Safeguarding Policy, as well as work in a way that will safeguard and promote the welfare of every child and young person accessing the service.
Innovate Dorset Ltd. constantly endeavours to maintain an ethos where our service users can talk, are listened to, and feel safe and secure. All young people accessing the service should feel able to talk freely to any member of staff if they are worried about something.
Throughout our formal and informal learning, we provide activities and opportunities for the young people to develop the skills they need to identify risks, stay safe, and develop essential life skills.
At all times, we work in partnership and strive to establish effective working relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues from other agencies, as well as ensuring that our staff have regular and up-to-date safeguarding training.
