Scope of Policy

This Policy pertains to how employees of Innovate Dorset Ltd. should care for their personal belongings whilst they are on Innovate Dorset Ltd. premises.

Personal Belongings Policy

Employees are responsible for the care and safekeeping of their personal property during the course of employment. The Company does not encourage you to bring in any valuables and cash to the workplace and you should ensure items like personal medication are kept secure whilst you are at work.

The Company accepts no liability for any personal belongings and does not accept any responsibility for the theft or damage of personal belongings brought onto the premises. The Company does not insure the personal effects of workers against loss or damage whilst at work. Employees are expected to make their own insurance arrangements for their personal property.
